A circular route including the Strathkelvin Railway Path, residential streets and the Milton of Campsie Fairy woods. This route includes around 25 steps, some steep inclines and descents and slightly uneven underfoot surfaces.

Start here!
1.
Head out Sked’s Garden and turn left onto Campsie Road. Turn left onto Birston Road at The Fells Coffee shop.
2.
Take the footpath on your left onto the Strathkelvin Railway Path.

At the top of the hill take the footpath as it bears right. Follow this onto Glenburn Crescent and follow it up to Birston Road.

Head into the trees and take the first footpath on your right that leads you back towards the play park. and follow the path up the hill.

Cross Birdston road onto Redmoss Road.
Follow Redmoss Road, then take the second left onto Alder Road.

When you reach the end of Alder Road, take the footpath that bears right and follow it round and through the gate into the Milton of Campsie Fairy Woods.

Before you reach the end of Alder Road, take a left onto the footpath that leads to Redmoss Road. Follow the road until it becomes Laburnum Drive and continue.

When the path start to go downhill, take the right fork that leads onto Hazel Bank. Follow hazelbank back to turn right onto Alder Road.
9.
After the wee green on your righthand side, take the footpath signposting to Strathkelvin Railway Path on your right through the gate.
Keep following this footpath towards Strathkelvin Railway Path.
10.
Head down the steps and turn right onto the Strathkelvin Railway Path.
11.
After the round Milton of Campsie railway tunnel, turn left up the stairs on your left.
Retrace your footsteps back to Sked’s Garden.
